The much-anticipated WPT India Online Series has taken off on PokerBaazi with a bang! We have the first five winners of the series and with the crowd rushing in to play, our Skill Scoreboard ‘Weekly Update’ bears witness to several thrilling upheavals!

For the uninitiated, the Skill Scoreboard tracks your tournament performances across the last 100 tournaments on six major parameters. This includes the tournaments you have played, the titles won, the number of FTs, etc.

This week’s update brings you the top performers over the week from December 2 to 8. The competition on the Skill Scoreboard remains fierce, with several players making strides and positioning themselves for potential climbs in the coming weeks.

Kabir Chhatwal Retains Top Spot on Skill Scoreboard
Kabir Chhatwal, the reigning 2024 G.O.A.T. champion and Delhi-based poker pro known as ‘Ksc7,’ continues to dominate the Skill Scoreboard, holding firm in the #1 position. Despite a slight dip of one point, Chhatwal’s Skill Score stands strong at 995. However, with the exciting WPT India Online Series unfolding and big winners emerging, the weeks ahead could bring new challengers eager to knock Chhatwal off his throne.

The players in ranks 2 to 4 also remain unchanged, with Gadadhar Behera ‘gd1921’, Haider Madraswala ‘Clickbait446’ – both holding Skill Scores of 995 – and Varun Sareen ‘Sareenv17021959’ (Skill Score: 994) maintaining their positions. These players show no signs of relinquishing their leads.

In a shift within the top 10, Harsh Bubna ‘Harsh1327’ has climbed one spot to reach #5 with a Skill Score of 992. Meanwhile, Muktar Firoj ‘Dhakedboy’ made an impressive two-rank jump, now sitting at #6 with the same Skill Score of 992.

Raj Keshari ‘Kedarnathjanah’, ranked 7th, has held steady with both his position and Skill Score of 992.

Tanmay Benara ‘truman’ has fallen from 5th to 9th place, with a Skill Score of 991 (⬇2). Despite this, Benara, a five-time NPS medalist, had a productive week, cashing in three tournaments and securing a deep run in the WPT#1 Deepstack Opener (18th for ₹38,058). As he’s still in the Top 10, Benara remains well-positioned to climb back up in the rankings.

Two new faces have made their way into the Top 10.
Uttam Gope ‘brokenpocker’ rode up a significant six places to claim the 8th rank with a Skill Score of 991 (+2), making him our “Royal Riser of the Week!” Gope’s surge can be credited to his fifth-place finish in the WPT#4 MILESTONE, where he earned ₹4.44 LAC.

Four-time NPS Gold Medallist Rohit Begwani ‘ChubbyGhost’ has climbed up one position to secure the 10th spot with a Skill Score of 991.
