The 35 CR GTD WPT India Online Series has successfully concluded on PokerBaazi, following an exciting run from December 8 to 22. Over the course of the mega-fest, 79 players claimed titles, with nine taking home the coveted WPT trophy.

In our latest Skill Scoreboard Weekly Update, we bring you all the highlights from December 16 to 22. The Skill Scoreboard evaluates player performance based on their results in the last 100 tournaments. This score is calculated using six key metrics, providing valuable insights into a player’s skill level and offering a benchmark for comparing against opponents.

Here’s a look at the top performers from the past week:

Avneesh Munjal Reigns Supreme with 3 WPT Title Victories & Dominance on WPT Player of the Series Leaderboard
The writing was on the wall! Gurgaon-based six-time NPS medalist Avneesh Munjal aka ‘iamam’ has once again proven his mastery on the poker tables, taking charge of the Skill Scoreboard and becoming our “Royal Riser of the Week!”

The 35-year old poker pro extended his hot streak through the week, adding ₹32.22 LAC in winnings after cashing in 29 WPT India Online events which includes another two WPT Online titles, bringing his overall medal tally in the series to three.

His standout achievements this week include:

> Won WPT#87 Championship for ₹17.28 LAC on December 22

> Won WPT#73 Bounty Hunter for ₹11.37 LAC on December 20

Munjal won his career-first WPT Online Trophy in the WPT#87 Championship. Throughout the WPT India Online Series, he amassed 61 cashes, accumulating a total of ₹52.47 LAC in winnings. His consistent success also earned him 16,720 points, securing the coveted top spot on the WPT Player of the Series Leaderboard, for a second WPT trophy and an impressive ₹10 LAC prize!

With Munjal’s rise to the top, Kabir Chhatwal ‘ksc7’ (996) was pushed to Rank 2.

Meanwhile, Satyam Verma ‘satyamverma25’ has steadily climbed to Rank 3. Verma – a three-time NPS medalist won WPT#79 Premiere (PLO-6) for his second WPT Online title and ₹9.89 LAC. His week’s winnings equal ₹13.65 LAC from 24 cashes.

He also ranks 6th on the WPT Player of the Series Leaderboard, earning an additional ₹2 LAC.

In the rankings, Haider Madraswala ‘Clickbait446’ held his ground at Rank 4, while Gadadhar Behera ‘gd1921’ dropped two spots to Rank 5.

Several other players made notable climbs in the rankings:

Yuvraj Bhardwaj ‘Treys’ jumped to Rank 6 (↑3) with a Skill Score of 993 (+2).

Muktar Firoj ‘Dhakedboy’ surged to Rank 7 (↑5) with a Skill Score of 993 (+2).

Shubham Agarwal, the MoneyMaker 87.0 champion and six-time NPS medalist, has made a remarkable ascent into the top-10 of the Skill Scoreboard. The talented player had a stellar week, cashing in 9 events and securing ₹8 LAC in total winnings.

Agarwal’s standout achievement came in the WPT#88 Main Event, where he finished 10th, earning ₹6.33 LAC. Thanks to his consistent performance, he has climbed a remarkable 24 spots, moving up to Rank 8 with a Skill Score of 993 (+7).

Gaurav Sood ‘gaug17’ on the other hand, slipped three ranks into #9 with an unchanged Skill Score of 992. Raj Keshari ‘Kedarnathjanah’ held onto Rank 10 with a Score of 991.

Top Scorer of the Week
Nitin Rawat ‘Gambler42 was outstanding in the 5 CR GTD WPT#88 Main Event, emerging as the champion in a massive field of 2,425 entries (1,684 unique players)! Along with the coveted WPT Trophy, he secured ₹63.50 LAC in winnings.

Throughout the week, Rawat cashed in seven WPT India Online events, amassing a total of ₹64.94 LAC. His impressive run has propelled him up to Rank 15 (↑17) with a Skill Score of 990 (+4).

Notable Mention

Pranay Chawla ‘setmeup’ famous as the first-ever Game Changer finalist had a runaway week on the WPT India Online with three title wins:

> Won WPT#72 Superstack for ₹4.50 LAC on December 20

> Won WPT#67 Super Highroller for ₹19.06 LAC on December 19

> Won WPT#61 Mega Championship for ₹15.23 LAC on December 18

While Chawla bagged WPT trophies from two of his wins, he cashed a total of four events for ₹38.91 LAC in winnings and currently stands on 213 (↑8,301) with a Skill Score of 954 (+341).
