4 Days to Glory: Maharashtra Eyes a New Medal Record, Saahib Bawa’s Twin Gold Fuels Delhi’s Fight!
Over the past 3 weeks, the National Poker Series India 2025 has captivated the nation, featuring an unprecedented influx of players and record-breaking prize pools.

As we hold our breaths for the final 4 days to play out, the competition is heating up on the State leaderboards. Maharashtra seems to have cemented its spot in the state wise race for medals.

On Day 25, two players picked up Gold, bringing the Maharashtra medal count to 100.

Siddharth Kewalramani ‘sidkid’ captured his career’s first-ever Gold in the NPS#166 Slamdunk, securing 1.71 LAC.

Giving him company on the day’s winner’s list was seasoned pro Pradip Ghosh ‘Nit2Donk’ who won his 2nd medal at the series (8th overall) in the NPS#167 Marathon, bagging a prize of 3.26 LAC.

100 medals, you said! Is that a record? No! In 2024 Maharashtra, who has dominated the medal tally across all the past four editions, bagged an impressive 104 medals.

Team Maharashtra’s current count of 100 medals includes 30 Golds, 37 Silvers, and 33 Bronzes. In just the past two days, the state has added five more medals to its collection, further reasserting its dominance.

The state now needs just 4 more medals to reach and breach its own record and looking at its form, it is very much within striking distance of achieving the same!

Over 50+ players from the state have picked up medals at the 2025 edition. Leading the charge are PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli ‘MomSaid5Bet,’ along with the Bajaj brothers, Vishal ‘Vishzz’ and Gopal ‘AiDarwin,’ all of whom remain at the top of the leaderboard.
